SO, a lamentable lack of craft this past week is counterbalanced by big lumps of organisational running about. It’s much less fun, but it does result in some fairly nifty things. I therefore present the inaugural Radical Craft Adelaide Completely Mental July:
First off, we will be visiting the fair hamlet of Murray Bridge; packing up all of our needles, yarn, scalpels and sewing machines and taking a bus out to the Murraylands. We’re running Radical Craft workshops on the 10th and 11th of July, but if that doesn’t tempt, there’s also going to be plenty of other awesome stuff going on. The full program can be found over here.
Following this, we will be gracing the fair halls of Vitalstatistix, a singularly lovely theatre company in Port Adelaide. Vitals will be flinging open its doors on the 18th of July for the Vitals Book, Zine and Crafty Affair. We’re going to bake brownies, and sell kits and craft. (And also we will compulsively buy books.)
And rounding off our Completely Mental July is our FIFTH Radical Crafternoon. But that’s another story…
